Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Naam Hatt Shri Jagannath Mandir Sewa Trust (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a charitable and religious organization committed to transparency and fairness in all our transactions. This policy governs cancellations and refunds for donations, event/puja services, and products purchased through our Trust.
1. Donations
All donations made to the Trust are considered voluntary, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
Once a donation is received and acknowledged, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
Donors are advised to carefully review details before making any contribution.
2. Duplicate / Error Transactions
If a donor or supporter has made a duplicate payment by mistake or due to technical error, the Trust will verify the transaction.
Upon confirmation, the duplicate amount will be refunded within 7–14 working days to the original payment method.
3. Event & Puja Services
Contributions made towards special events, pujas, or services are generally non-refundable.
Cancellations may be accepted if notified at least 3 days before the scheduled event/service, subject to approval.
If the event/service is cancelled by the Trust, participants will receive a full refund or an option to transfer the amount to another service/event.
4. Products Purchased from the Trust
We may offer religious or cultural products such as books, idols, prasad, handicrafts, or temple-related items through our Trust outlets or website. The following terms apply:
a. Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before shipment by contacting us directly.
Once the order is dispatched, cancellation is not possible.
b. Refunds & Returns
Damaged, defective, or wrong products: If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please notify us within 3 days of delivery with clear details and photographs. After verification, we will arrange for a replacement or refund.
Non-returnable products: Certain items such as prasad, food items, and customized orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Return shipping: In case of a return, customers may be required to bear the shipping cost unless the error is from our side.
c. Refund Timeline
Refunds, once approved, will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original mode of payment.
5. Tax Exemption Certificates
Donations eligible under applicable laws (such as Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961) will be issued proper receipts/certificates.
In case of refunded transactions (e.g., duplicate payments), the issued certificate (if any) will be treated as cancelled.
